Layne Cook was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds.
Portage Christian's defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-9. As for Community Baptist Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
