The Putnam Vo-Tech Beavers will be home for the holidays to greet the Sutton Sammies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Putnam Vo-Tech's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Springfield Renaissance on the road and fell 46-17.
Meanwhile, Sutton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They put the hurt on Palmer with a sharp 57-34 victory.
Putnam Vo-Tech bumped their record down to 0-1 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sutton, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
