South Knox took a 51-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Vincennes Lincoln on Wednesday. South Knox was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Vincennes Lincoln apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Vincennes Lincoln's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Raden Benson led the charge by scoring 13 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Gus Mccrary, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
South Knox's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Vincennes Lincoln, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.
South Knox will look to defend their home court on Friday against Evansville Bosse at 7:00 p.m. Evansville Bosse will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Vincennes Lincoln, they will head out on the road to take on Evansville Harrison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Evansville Harrison has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 497 points over their last seven matches.
