The Trimble Tech Bulldogs won against the Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles two weeks ago with 61 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Trimble Tech came out on top against Diamond Hill-Jarvis by a score of 61-54. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Trimble Tech.
Despite the loss, Diamond Hill-Jarvis had strong showings from Anthony Elizondo, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and five steals, and Sammy Luna, who scored 18 points. Elizondo scored a full 44.4% of Diamond Hill-Jarvis' points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Trimble Tech's win bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Diamond Hill-Jarvis, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
Trimble Tech will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Everman at 7:30 p.m. Everman presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Trimble Tech in Texas (Everman is ranked 437th, while Trimble Tech is ranked 1541st). As for Diamond Hill-Jarvis, they will head out on the road to face off against Carter-Riverside at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Carter-Riverside has now lost 14 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 18.
