After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Paris, the Richland County Tigers were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 44-42 win over Vincennes Lincoln. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Richland County has posted yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Richland County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kelysse Weiler, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of GRAYCE BURGENER, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Richland County's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Vincennes Lincoln, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.
Richland County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Effingham at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. As for Vincennes Lincoln, they will square off against Heritage Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
