Fort Lee can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They pulled ahead with a 58-57 photo finish over Cliffside Park. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Guy Vickers, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Jacob Greenberg was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Pompton Lakes' victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Fort Lee, their victory ended a 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-13.
