Basketball Recap: Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

If Soulsville wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering, they should've done a better job of containing London Dyson. The Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering Phoenix took their match on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 60-21 win over the Soulsville Revolution thanks in part to Dyson, who posted 21 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Dyson is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least four every time she's taken the court this season.

Alexia Robinson was another key player, putting up 12 points and eight steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Soulsville, they moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering will venture away from home to challenge Cordova at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Soulsville, they will host Middle College at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
