Sacramento entered their tilt with Rodriguez on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went their way against the Rodriguez Mustangs as they made off with a 78-53 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dragons also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2019.

Sacramento's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Shawn Underwood led the charge by going 6 for 10 en route to 14 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. Underwood is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was SirMarius Jones, who went 7 of 17 on his way to 17 points.

Sacramento smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 7 offensive rebounds per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 10.3.

Sacramento has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.9 points per game. As for Rodriguez, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sacramento will face off against Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sacramento is facing Pioneer at the right time seeing as Pioneer is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Rodriguez, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Vanden at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Vanden's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests.
