Meanwhile, East Lyme had to suffer through a rough 54-14 loss at the hands of Guilford. East Lyme has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
East Lyme's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Aidan Patterson, who rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown, and Mathew Leone who picked up 24 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Fitch's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.33 points. As for East Lyme, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
