Ethan Latta Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Dundy County-Stratton's Ethan Latta, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Latta rushed for 219 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 57 yards.
For the year, Latta has averaged 60.9 receiving yards per game.

Arapahoe Gets a Boost from Cacy in 51-12 Win
Arapahoe picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to William Cacy. Cacy was dynamite, rushing for 141 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Arapahoe pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Cacy and Arapahoe will face off against St. Patrick's at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Lane Bybee Makes It Two for Dundy County-Stratton
The second Dundy County-Stratton player making an appearance here is Lane Bybee, and for good reason. He wasn't messing around on Friday, picking up 2.5 sacks, forcing a fumble, and making 11 total tackles (4.0 for loss). The match was his third straight with 11 or more total tackles dating back to last season.
On the year, Bybee has averaged 11.3 total tackles per game and for the season has 4.5 sacks. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he had one forced fumble. This year he is already up to three.

Trenton Roskop produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Arapahoe to the win on Friday. Roskop rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 88 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.
On the year, Roskop has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 32.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 21 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 51.14 rushing yards.
