Bell is 2-8 against Chiefland since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bell Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Chiefland Indians at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Bell will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 23 points two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Hamilton County on Friday. Bell took their contest with ease, bagging a 59-32 win over Hamilton County. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Bulldogs just coasted through the last quarter.

Maddie Smith was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and ten steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Dacy Graham was another key player, putting up six points along with 12 rebounds and six steals.
Bell smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 34 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in ten consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Chiefland waltzed into their game back in December of 2024 with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Bears, posting a 67-32 victory. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.
Chiefland's win came from a few key players Bell will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brianna Bell, who posted 15 points and seven steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 36 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyasia Bivins, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards.
Bell's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Chiefland, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Bell has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 38.5 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Chiefland struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.8 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Bell might still be hurting after the 53-31 loss they got from Chiefland in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Will Bell have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other basketball content.
