Sherburne-Earlville can finally bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on December 5th. They snuck past Richfield Springs Central with a 56-52 victory. The victory was just what Sherburne-Earlville needed coming off of a 79-49 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Cooperstown scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 82-55 win over Unatego. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Charlie Lambert continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 38 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The game was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cooper Coleman, who scored 16 points.
Sherburne-Earlville's victory ended a eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1. As for Cooperstown, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.
