Daleville had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed past the Cowan Blackhawks to the tune of 58-27 on Friday. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Pratcher, who went 11-for-19 en route to 24 points along with seven boards and five steals. That's the most rebounds Pratcher has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Addisyn Gothrup, who went 5-for-7 on her way to 16 points.
Cowan's loss came despite strong showings from Savannah Hall and Madison Norris. Hall scored eight points in addition to eight boards and three steals, while Norris earned four points. Hall has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times she's played.
The win was the fourth in a row for Daleville, bringing their record for this year to 15-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.8 points. As for Cowan, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-18.
Daleville has already played their next match, a 47-41 loss against North Miami on the 8th. Cowan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
