If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Marquette. On Friday they take on Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy at 7:00 PM. Marquette have yet to lose; Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy, on the other hand, are desperate for their first victory.
Marquette put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took the matchup and then some with a 68-20 win over Mooseheart. With Marquette ahead 48-14 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy weren't quite Hiawatha's equal in the second half when they met. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy ended up forfeiting their game against Hiawatha 0-2.
Marquette's victory lifted them to 4-0 while Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll see if Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy are able to find more success (and make for a more exciting contest than their last) when the teams meet up.
