Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Holland). They put the hurt on the Chilton Pirates with a sharp 17-1 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won six in a row.
Caleb Hill made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Hill was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
