Volleyball Recap: Winfield Gets the Win

If Montgomery County wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Winfield, they should've done a better job of containing Aubree Schott. The Warriors blew past the Wildcats 3-0 on Monday for which the team can thank Schott, who had 13 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-19.

Winfield's record is now 13-9-1. As for Montgomery County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-17-1 record this season.

Winfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Warrenton on the 7th. Montgomery County has also already played their next match (against Centralia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
