It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the North Port Bobcats had no problem doing just that on Monday. They managed a 46-42 win over the Lightning. The victory was a breath of fresh air for North Port as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
North Port found their leader in underclassman Rhiley Richards, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Richards has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Taylor Davidson, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
North Port's win bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Lehigh, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-7.
North Port will take on Riverview Sarasota at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Riverview Sarasota is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 61.7 points per game this season. Lehigh does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
