It was another big night for Karsten Swinney, who scored 22 points along with five assists and four steals. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Swinney has scored at least 25% of Freedom Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Bastos, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
O'Neal's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Boyd Kenny, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Gunnar Adams, who scored seven points.
Freedom Christian Academy pushed their record up to 6-5 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 54.67 points. As for O'Neal, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.

O'Neal won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Fayetteville Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 5th. Fayetteville Christian is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
