Drew Charter can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 52-37 victory over South Atlanta. The victory was just what Drew Charter needed coming off of a 68-26 defeat in their prior contest.
Drew Charter found their leader in underclassman Anaysa Glover, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Glover has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shannilea Schliffer, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Drew Charter's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for South Atlanta, they dropped their record down to 6-8 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Drew Charter will square off against Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Atlanta, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Paran Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Mount Paran Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than South Atlanta in Georgia (Mount Paran Christian is ranked 20th, while South Atlanta is ranked 384th).
