Park Hill South was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after a bye. The Panthers came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 28 last week.
Lee's Summit West extended the longest winning streak in Suburban - Red this week by beating Kickapoo, 51-14. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Titans.
Lee's Summit West's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Thomas Ganaden threw for 156 and 4 touchdowns and Brenner Clemons had 81 yards receiving. On the ground Ryan Williams chipped in 80 yards. Monte Harrison helped Lee's Summit West's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 60 yards.
He went 9-13 with 0 interceptions.
Williams was the best running back in the league this week. In 8 carries, he ran for 80 yards as Royce Boehm's team defeated the Chiefs. Teammate Clemons added to the ground attack by rushing for 85 yards.
6-foot-5 quarterback Ganaden of the Titans is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,214. He has also thrown 24 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Nick Griffith. The Park Hill South star has 54 catches for 961 yards.
