After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bloomer, the Cadott Hornets were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They strolled past Stanley-Boyd with points to spare, taking the game 56-41. For Cadott, this counts as revenge for the 80-66 loss Stanley-Boyd walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Leading Cadott to victory were Emma Kowalczyk and Taylor Hager. Kowalczyk scored 13 points along with four steals, while Hager scored 13 points along with seven assists and six steals. Hager is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Nerdrum, who scored eight points.
Cadott has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Stanley-Boyd, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cadott will stay at home for another game and welcome McDonell Central at 7:15 p.m. on January 26th. McDonell Central has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,103 points over their last 15 matchups. As for Stanley-Boyd, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Thorp at 7:15 p.m. Thorp is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
