East Rockingham has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Thursday, East Rockingham lost to Madison County at home by a decisive 56-40 margin. East Rockingham has struggled against Madison County recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Harrisonburg strolled past William Monroe with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 55-36. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Harrisonburg.
East Rockingham bumped their record down to 7-7 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Harrisonburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.
East Rockingham didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Harrisonburg when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 62-56 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for East Rockingham since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
