Football Recap: Imagine Prep Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

With a playoff win on the line, Imagine Prep rose to the challenge on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 27-8 victory over the Imagine Prep Superstition Panthers. Winning may never get old, but the Storm sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Kade DeWitte was his usual excellent self, rushing for 72 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 27 yards and one TD. He didn't just play on offense: he also made two total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended five passes. Brock Millette also helped with two scores in total.

Imagine Prep didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Millette and Diego Figueroa. Millette got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Imagine Prep's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Imagine Prep Superstition, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Coming up, Imagine Prep will square off against Western SciTech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Storm will need to watch out since the Aztec Warrior have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Imagine Prep Superstition does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
