Basketball Recap: Morrice Drops Highest Score of Season Against Bendle

Morrice scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 70-55 bruising from the Bendle Tigers. The Orioles lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 77-34 score last time.

It was another big night for Malis Firman, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten assists for Bendle. Firman's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Caleb Bingham was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 13 points.

Morrice's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bendle, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Morrice will be playing in front of their home fans against New Standard Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. New Standard Academy has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 220 points over their last three contests. As for Bendle, they will challenge Beecher at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bendle is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65 points per game this season.
