Covington had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Twin Valley South Panthers with a sharp 12-2 win. This was payback for the Buccs, who suffered a 6-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Covington's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Twin Valley South, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-13.

Covington didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Piqua on the 16th. As for Twin Valley South, they will take on National Trail in a tournament on Wednesday.
