Despite the loss, El Dorado still got an impressive performance from Trace Fowler, who scored nine points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that Fowler grabbed two or more steals. Another player making a difference was Sam Greene, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Collegiate pushed their record up to 5-4-1 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for El Dorado, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Collegiate will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Winfield. Winfield is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for El Dorado, they will head out on the road to take on Augusta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Augusta presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than El Dorado in Kansas (Augusta is ranked 136th, while El Dorado is ranked 279th).
