Platteview came into Monday's matchup looking for another win against Douglas County West, but Zane Wohlers wouldn't allow it. The Douglas County West Falcon secured a 48-44 W over the Platteview Trojans on Monday thanks in part to Wohlers, who went 7-for-10 on his way to 17 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Eli Speth, who posted 13 points. Speth is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played. Sully Vanosdall was another key player, putting up ten points.

Douglas County West's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Platteview, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-9.

Coming up, Douglas County West will face off against Skutt Catholic at 3:15 p.m. on March 13th. Platteview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
