The Hamilton Bobcats''s game on Thursday was all tied up 8-8 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They suffered a tough 36-14 loss at the hands of Desert Christian Academy. Hamilton lost against Desert Christian Academy in their previous head to head back in September of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 47-29 score last time.
Despite the loss, Hamilton still got an impressive performance from William Hamlett, who rushed for 235 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Hamlett was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 56 yards.
Desert Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dylan Smith, who rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Elijah Mawhiney, who gained 188 total yards.
Hamilton's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-9. As for Desert Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Desert Christian Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
