Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Eagleton College & Career Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They never let Rockwood get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Wednesday. The Royals haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Like Oliver Springs, Eagleton College & Career Academy also got a great game from a two-way player: Jayce Simon. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Simon was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI and one double. He has become a key player for Eagleton College & Career Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 4-6-1 otherwise.

Oliver Springs' win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, their record is now 9-6-1.
