After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Barnwell, Edisto was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Lake Marion Gators get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won four matchups by 15 runs or more so far this season.
Mallory Garrick and Amariyah Johnson did most of the damage at the plate: Garrick scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Johnson went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, three stolen bases, and two runs.
