Forge Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Devyn Haines made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rio Beck, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and two RBI. Maxine Rossi was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
