With a playoff win on the line, Simpson Academy rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Starkville Academy Volunteers as they made off with a 55-33 victory. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 22 points or more this season.

The win (which was Simpson Academy's tenth in a row) raised their record to 21-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.8 points. As for Starkville Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Simpson Academy nor Starkville Academy have any future games scheduled.
