Kingman's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Katie Shull, who scored eight points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Teagin Lewis, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Tonopah Valley's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Kingman, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-12.
Tonopah Valley will head out on the road to challenge Odyssey Institute at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Odyssey Institute's defense has only allowed 28.1 points per game this season, so Tonopah Valley's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Kingman, they will be playing at home against American Leadership Academy - West Foothills at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
