Southeastern Local is a perfect 10-0 against Greeneview since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Rams at 5:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Southeastern Local comes in on three and Greeneview on four.
While Southeastern Local's win against Northwestern wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Warriors 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since April 26, 2024.

Reese R Wells made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
R Wells wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kami Horner, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. Addi Vanover also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Greeneview hadn't done well against Madison Plains recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rams came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 10-6. Greeneview's win was all the more impressive since the Golden Eagles were averaging only 3.75 runs allowed on the season.
Maddie Leslie spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on ten hits.
At the plate, Mya Simpson was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Ryan Zink was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Greeneview hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive games.
Greeneview pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Southeastern Local, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Greeneview's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Southeastern Local has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.8 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Greeneview, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.2 strikeouts. Will Southeastern Local keep running through batters, or will the Rams buck the trend?
Southeastern Local took their victory against Greeneview when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-0 score. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
