Gentry won the last time they faced Pea Ridge and things went their way on Friday too. The Pioneers snuck past the Blackhawks with a 7-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pioneers.

One reason for the win was Gentry's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. In that department, Atreyu Banks was the leader with two. Phillip Thompson was another major factor on D, forcing one fumble and making 16 total tackles.

Gentry's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pea Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
