Thompson Valley put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Roosevelt as Thompson Valley made off with a 78-58 victory. Given Thompson Valley's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Roughriders are ranked 269th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Brady Kennison, who scored 25 points along with five assists and four steals. Kennison is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Manzani, who scored 16 points along with eight assists and three steals.
Meanwhile, Riverdale Ridge came up short against the Falcons on Tuesday and fell 57-47. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Riverdale Ridge has scored all season.
Thompson Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Riverdale Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-3.
Thompson Valley might still be hurting after the 68-47 loss they got from the Ravens when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Riverdale Ridge's Dylan Nieto, who scored 24 points along with three steals.
