Godwin won the last time they faced Glen Allen and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 5-1 victory. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Godwin's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Glen Allen are ranked 228th).

The win made it two in a row for Godwin and bumps their season record up to 8-2-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two matches. As for Glen Allen, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-11-1.

Coming up, Godwin will face off against Prince George at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Prince George will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last. As for Glen Allen, they will venture away from home to face off against Freeman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Freeman's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
