If Anderson was riding high  fresh off their  43-18 takedown of Indianapolis Washington last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit.  A big part of Danville's  victory came down to the chemistry between  Drew Rector and his top target  Carter Ward. Rector picked up 70 receiving yards and a pair of  scores while  Ward threw for 128 yards and two  TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes. Rector showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 55 yards.  Mason Shipley was in the mix  too, providing Danville with one touchdown.
Anderson now  has a losing record of 1-2. As for Danville, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anderson will venture away from home to  square off against McCutcheon  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Danville, they will head out to  take on Hamilton Heights  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
