The Menendez Falcons will venture away from home to face off against the Ridgeview Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Menendez not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Westside with a sharp 3-0 victory.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Menendez took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-7, 25-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Menendez to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jessie Rot, who had 11 digs. Rot has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last seven times she's played. Gabby Brubaker was another key player, getting 14 assists.
Menendez was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, Ridgeview waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Raiders.
Ridgeview had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-17, 26-24, 26-24.
Menendez's record now sits at 8-5. As for Ridgeview, their record is now 13-5.
Menendez suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Ridgeview in their previous matchup back in October of 2023. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
