On Tuesday, Magoffin County suffered a tough 69-45 defeat at the hands of Blazer. Magoffin County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Blazer to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zander Carter, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tyson Lalonde, who scored 16 points.
Magoffin County now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Blazer, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Magoffin County will take on Letcher County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blazer, they will be playing at home against South Point at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
