Everything went their way against West Geauga on Friday as Chagrin Falls made off with a 63-40 victory. Winning may never get old, but Chagrin Falls sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Chagrin Falls was led to victory by Amelia Bencko and Lilly Stukus. Bencko dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds, while Stukus scored 24 points along with three steals. The matchup was Stukus' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Abby Kay, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Chagrin Falls has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for West Geauga, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chagrin Falls will take on Hawken at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Geauga, they will head out on the road to face off against Orange at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Orange is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
