Even though the Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool Warriors have not done well against the DasCHE Spartans recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool strolled past DasCHE with points to spare, taking the game 78-60. The win was nothing new for Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool as they're now sitting on three straight.
Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool was led to victory by Timothy Jones and Toby Pike. Jones scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Pike dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Symes, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
DasCHE lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jadon Comeaux, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and five blocks. Comeaux has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Carson Headquist, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for DasCHE, their loss dropped their record down to 25-4.
Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Red River at 6:30 p.m. on February 1st. Red River will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 593rd, while Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool is ranked 170th). As for DasCHE, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against North Central Texas Academy at 7:30 p.m.
