There's no place like home for Sherman, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Denton Broncos on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won three in a row.

Sherman was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19, 19-25, 25-13.

Sherman's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Denton, they moved to 8-7 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Sherman and Denton could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Bearcats will square off against Lovejoy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (576 vs. 4). Meanwhile, Denton (ranked 418th) will meet Frisco (ranked 203rd) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
