While losing is never fun, North Posey can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 236th, while Crawford County is ranked 75th).
North Posey's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elle Jo Johnson, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Jazalyn Ward, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
North Posey's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-7. As for Crawford County, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Posey will be home for the holidays to greet South Knox at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
