The Mustang Broncos stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 58-35 margin over MacArthur. The win was familiar territory for Mustang who now have six in a row.
Mustang's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Parker Simonsen led the charge by scoring 11 points along with five assists. Elaina Valentin Florence was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Mustang is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for MacArthur, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.
Mustang will head out on the road to face off against Putnam City North at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Putnam City North has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 246 points over their last four contests. As for MacArthur, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lawton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lawton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 341st, while MacArthur is ranked 124th).
