The Landmark Christian Patriots 's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Real Life Christian Academy, falling 71-34. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Landmark Christian has scored all season.
Real Life Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Leewood Whitfield, who scored 15 points along with seven assists and four steals. Whitfield has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last five times he's played. Tysen Miller was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five steals.
Landmark Christian's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Real Life Christian Academy, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.
Landmark Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Real Life Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Saints at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully St. John Lutheran focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Thursday.
