The Springlake-Earth Wolverines can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past Lazbuddie 69-24 on the road. While fans of Springlake-Earth might be used to big wins, the 45-point margin marked the team's biggest victory yet this season.
Springlake-Earth found their leader in underclassman Kaleb Castillo, who scored 22 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Castillo has scored all season. Froylan Agundiz was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Springlake-Earth's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Lazbuddie, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Springlake-Earth will be playing in front of their home fans against Kress at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Kress focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 last Friday. As for Lazbuddie, they will head out on the road to challenge Happy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
