Central suffered their biggest loss since December 20, 2023 on Wednesday. They took a serious blow against Cypress Creek, falling 53-20. Central has struggled against Cypress Creek recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Delanee Duncan put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Hernando Christian Academy had to suffer through a rough 58-15 loss at the hands of Academy at the Lakes. Hernando Christian Academy was down 42-12 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Despite the loss, Hernando Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Neaya Richardson scored six points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Hernando Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
