There's no place like home for Fremont, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They took down the Cupertino Pioneers 62-43 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Firebirds in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won four in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Cupertino lost, don't look at Ivan Shen. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-14 on his way to 18 points. Those 18 points gave Shen a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Houma Yoshimochi, who posted 11 points.
