Basketball Recap: Stall Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Goose Creek, Stall was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They strolled past the Hanahan Hawks with points to spare, taking the game 60-45. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Donte Ward went supernova for Stall, putting up 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Downtez Evans, who posted ten points.

Despite the defeat, Hanahan saw an underclassman step up: freshman Tripp Gallus put up eight points along with 13 boards and three blocks. Dru Goldsmith was another key player, going 5 of 9 on his way to 12 points and five assists.

Stall's win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Stall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-47 loss against North Charleston on the 13th. As for Hanahan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-46 defeat against Philip Simmons on the 4th.
